Onicio Batista Leal Neto

Biomedical scientist, epidemiologist, collective health specialist, master degree and PhD in Public Health and Epidemiology. Onicio Leal is a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Child Well-being & Development - University of Zurich leading projects for the application of wearables and machine learning for child development. He was consultant for Pan-American Health Organization, UNICEF and Inter-American Development Bank. His research topics are: digital epidemiology, social epidemiology, quantitative health research, syndemics, machine learning applied to epidemics and disease outbreaks.
